Besides her on-camera experience, Ms. King
has also been nationally recognized for her writing and producing
skills. She received a silver medal award from the International Film
and TV Festival of New York
for the powerful docudrama "A Priest Indeed" which profiled the
struggle of women for the Episcopal Priesthood. Ms. King was the
recipient of the gold and silver award for Today's Woman and Newsweek
Woman, respectively and The Detroit Vanguard Certificate of Merit by
Women in Communications. She was also honored with two Golden Triangle
Video Awards recognizing excellence in visual communications by the
Pittsburgh Chapter of ITVA, the International Television Association.
